What’s the perfect accessory for shoes? Polish of course, and Aldo, one of my favorite affordable shoe stores, announced yesterday that they will debut a line of nail lacquers to be sold in stores. The line will launch with a whopping 14 shades with names like Thunderbolt love and Daisy on a Date.

This announcement comes just in time for open toe season, time to get that pedi!

Splurge VS Steal: Black cage detail booties

I was browsing around Polyvore the other night when I saw these Black Giuseppe Zanotti booties, and noticed that they looked like a pair I purchased from Bakers months ago. Can you guess which pair costs $795 and which costs $79?

The ones on the left are the Giuseppe Zanotti black leather cage detail booties and the ones on the right are Bakers ‘Caden’

Target recently release photos of the Cynthia Vincent for Target shoe collection. In the midst of all the designer collaborations with clothing, it is about time there were some shoes thrown in the mix. The collection consists of embellished gladiator wedges, sandals and flats, that are perfect for the Spring. Prices range from $24.99 for flats to $29.99 for wedges and heels, and will be available in stores April 18 through June 20.

Since wedges aren’t very flattering on me, I doubt I will be participating in this sale. I’m still wondering where is Target’s designer collection with Jimmy Choo or YSL?

Light up the night with Jimmy Choo Zap sandal

Liberty of London for Target Now Available

The liberty of London for Target collection is now in stores. I forgot all about it until I saw the display at my local Target. Unlike the JPG (which wasn’t even available at the Target I went to) this collection was fully stocked. I didn’t have time to give the collection a thorough inspection, so I can’t speak on it’s quality yet. I am in lust with all things paisley and will likely be adding a piece (or three) to my wardrobe.

Liberty of London is doing big things this year. In addition to the clothing collaboration they have also released a line of home goods at Target, and a Make up collection for MAC is available now.

Jean Paul Gaultier @ Target now

The Jean Paul Gaultier for Target line launched yesterday and is available in stores now. I’m not going to run out to grab any one item in the collection, but next time I am in Tar-jay I will give it a glance. I am curious about the quality, especially since a few of the items are priced higher than previous Target designer collaborations.

Assuming good quality, the line offers a great variety of styles and cuts that will carry you into next fall. I am still not overly exited about any one item, and I am completely turned off by the tattoo print top and leggings, but I think there is enough variety for everyone to find something.
