Sneak Peek @ Jean Paul Gaultier for Target

Here is the lookbook for the Jean Paul Gaultier for Target collection that I spotted at Refinery29. Much better than the ones that were leaked earlier. Well, the collection doesn’t really look like much of a collection in my opinion. The styles are not very cohesive. Aside from them being put together in these photos, much of the pieces don’t look like they belong in the same family.  Since when does tattoo print leggings and A-line floral skirts mesh? I appreciate that all seasons are covered, and so are some of the trends that are expected for this year, but I’m not overly excited about any one thing.

My personal style pick out of this collection is the one piece swimsuit, the JPGaultier side tied Tshirt, and the gloves if they are part of the collection. I like the striped shirt as well, but at 5′2 it is not for me. I need all the length I can get, and those horizontal lines will just make me look like a 18 wheeler.

The line should be available March 7, and prices range from $17.99 for swimsuit separates to $199 for the leather jackets.
