Do Dump or Marry: Over the Knee Socks
Ever play the game do, dump, or marry with your girlfriends about guys? Well, I do the same thing with clothes. Do items that are cute but don’t fit the standard of your everyday style. Don’t invest too much time or money because they won’t stick around. Dump, you know that one item you wouldn’t give the time of day? and then there is Marry. The classic wardrobe staple that will be there for better or for worst and probably until death (or a major stain/ hole) do you part.
Lets play with over the knee socks.
I am on the fence with this one. I only like them in solid dark colors, and since I haven’t jumped on the socks and sandals bandwagon, I also only like them with closed toe shoes (and occasionally a peep toe, but not often). They are great for keeping your legs warm and are also a great alternative to over the knee and thigh high boots. Especially for those who have larger calves.

For me it is a do. I’ll probably do it this winter because it’s in now and will fit into my closet. I don’t know if they will be in rotation for me next winter though. The good thing about it is they’re inexpensive!
