Christian Siriano for Payless Holiday collection
C. Siriano and Payless are at it again, this time with a holiday collection. I have been less than impressed with the previous collections, but this time I might actually head into the store to make a purchase. I have my eyes on one particular pair, the Carolina Pump. What!you though because I vowed to wear more flats that I would choose otherwise? Sorry, the flats in this collection are not for me. Actually, neither are any of the other shoes besides the Carolina pump. Not that they aren’t nice shoes, they just lack the Umphhh needed to make me choose them over something else already in my closet. Maybe if I catch them BOGO I will add some chains to the Elsa Strippy Sandle. (BTW payless, Shouldn’t that be strAppy?)
The collection made us look twice too. We were able to secure a couple samples prior to the collection hitting stores and the Carolina pump is an absolute fave. I loved it when first saw in the lookbook. I have actually never purchased a shoe from Payless but this collection makes me reconsider. But the quality of the Carolina pump is not bad. They do give a bit on the side more than I would like but they are too cute and the zipper on the back is always an attention grabber. Rocked them on the red carpet at the BET Hip Hop Awards last month …
