$20/week challenge week 4 update and summary

So I made it through August and did not spend more than $20/wk on fashion items. Week 4 was no different from any other week, except I noticed even more back to school shoppers. I remember those days{sigh} For week 4 I purchased a pair of shoes for $15 at Ross!

So, lets take inventory.

Week 1: Black sheath dress $12.50 (7.50 carry over)

Week 2: Green cardigan originally $24.99 but target marked it down and gave me a refund, for a total of $17.50 ($9 carry over)

Week 3: Two 3/4 sleeve cardigans, white blouse, pink sleeveless blouse, and two pair of earrings $30 (no carry over)

Week 4: Shoes $15

I think I did pretty good! I tried to find a pair of pants so that I could say I formed complete outfits with what I purchased, but oh well, a dress is a full outfit. Week three proved to be the most lucrative, but I also had the most money during that week. At one point I almost over did it, August has 5 Sundays and I was counting my week from Sunday to Sunday. I caught it in time and stuck to the $80 for the month. Here is a photo of everything I racked up during the month of August. The only things not shown is one of the cardigans from week 3 (I was wearing it) and the earrings from week 4.

Lastly, you may notice there is an unaccounted for blazer in the photo. That was actually my first purchase of September! Check it out:
