$20 week challenge update: Week 3
Week 3 proved to be quite a challenge. I though for sure Old Navy’s $20 jean sale would be it. I had previously purchased two diva styled skinny jeans, last year during the sale and was looking for the same pair with a different wash. I hit up old navy pretty early last week, but I did not find any jeans. BTW, I was totally having a Kim K. moment while walking in the store talking to my mom on the phone when she overestimated my pant size by 3 sizes!!! Maybe that’s why I didn’t purchase any. Also there was a lot of back to school shoppers so the store was extra crowded.
I ventured into a few of my other favorite fast fashion retailers like Charlotte Russe, Forever 21 and of course Target. Oh! I forgot to mention that Target honored the price difference! Not because it was on sale online, but because it had been marked down in the store also by the time I went back. (Great customer service!)
So, which retailer got my $29? It was a split between Charlotte Russe and Target. While in Target, I ventured back to the clearance section and picked up two 3/4 sleeve cardigans and a white blouse for $5/ea. and the remaining $15 was spent at Charlotte Russe. I found a pink sleeveless blouse and took advantage of the 2/$8 on accessories.
