Keep your intimates safe in the wash

Lets face it, underwear is an investment – it’s the foundation of our wardrobe, but can be a bit tricky to care for. Here are a few tips to keep your panties pristine and as beautiful as the day you bought them.

1. Consider purchasing a lingerie bag. This is the easiest, safest way to care for your delicates, it prevents snagging and damage from the agitator in the washer. When in a lingerie bag, undergarments can be washed with the rest of your clothes, otherwise…..
2. Hand Wash them in the sink. Allow items to soak 10-15 and then gently rub the fabric against itself to remove dirt. Don’t rub two different pieces together. Extra delicate items such as lace should always be hand washed.
3. If you don’t have a lingerie bag, you can substitute it with a pillowcase
4. If you mush machine wash, always use the gentle cycle with cold or warm water.
5. Hang or lay flat to dry or use a low dryer setting.
6. When washing bras close the clasps (even if you have a lingerie bag)

Taking these extra precautions when washing your delicates will ensure they look and feel good for the long run.
